You’re invited! If you’ve been wondering why we are looking to renovate and improve our schools, we invite you to come to the next Public Facilities Committee Meeting. This meeting will take place on January 29 at 4:30 p.m. in the High School Library. Call us at 285-6830 if you can’t attend and would like more information about the potential bond.

Three Forks School District has put together a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) directed towards the upcoming spring bond election. We will share the answers to these questions in the weeks leading up to the May 5th election date. If clarification is needed for any of these postings, please feel free to reach out to the District Office @ 285-6830.
*Why does the Three Forks School District NEED this building bond?
We have 3 schools within our campus that all have different needs. The focus of this project from the beginning has revolved around three components; safety, space, and infrastructure. Each of these components were taken into consideration for each individual school (elem., MS, and HS).
Below is a listing of safety items that would be addressed through the passing of the spring bond.
-The electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems are outdated and failing throughout many portions of the campus.
-Fire suppression systems do NOT exist throughout the entire campus, thus creating a major safety concern that needs to be addressed.
-Three Forks High School was built in 1952 and is currently obsolete, requiring desperate improvements.
-To improve security and keep our students and staff safe, campus entrances would be reconfigured so that all traffic will funnel through the controlled offices during the school day.
-The school bus loading/unloading zone will be relocated to a single (bus-only) lane to the north of campus. This will be a controlled, safe area for students to board/un-board buses.
-The parent drop off area for elementary students will be relocated to the NE corner of campus, allowing for a more controlled area, while also reducing the congestion on East Neal. This would also allow for increased safety for students to walk to the playground or cafeteria prior to the start of school.
-The School Board of Trustees has voted to purchase/lease portable classrooms that will be located outside of the main buildings. With these classrooms being outside of the main campus buildings, increased safety concerns do arise.

Amazing Community
