Day 4!
Three Forks FFA had another very busy day! We spent the morning checking out the National FFA Expo. During the day, there were 96 student workshops, and 36 teacher workshops were offered, and there were 287 exhibitor booths set up in the Expo Hall. These booths consisted of employers, colleges, and teacher resource providers. Of course, there was lots of shopping as well in the National FFA Store!
We then went on a very informative agritourism tour at Indiana's Largest Paintball and Scream Park! We closed the day with the National FFA Rodeo! What a fun, fun day!
On Day 5 of our trip, our students took the opportunity to network with several colleges that came from around the nation to recruit FFA members to their schools. They spent more time in the trade show talking to future employers as well.
Three Forks FFA then volunteered to do some community service in Indianapolis. We went to the fairgrounds and assisted in the cleaning up of the National FFA events that were held there. Even when across the U.S., Three Forks FFA members continue to give back a model good citizenship. A few of our members attended a second National FFA Session, and went to a QA and a with the legendary Temple Grandin!
At the close of the day, we had a great pizza dinner, played some card games, and got packed for the trip home!
Three Forks FFA has done some amazing things in the past few years! Earlier this week, Mr. Gongo, Mr. Frank, and Sara Lattimore took all the seniors from Three Forks HS to go get a tour of the Capitol building to see government in action. They got tours of the Senate Chamber, the Rotunda, the House Chamber, the Supreme Court, and got to meet with Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen. They were given information on the history of each building, meaningful art history throughout the Capitol, famous Montana Politicians, and the importance of voting in the upcoming election!

The Wolf Pack celebrated our senior football players tonight. We appreciate the work the boys have put in and wish them well in all they pursue. Go Wolves!
The Middle School Halloween Dance was a spooktacular success and ghoulishly good time Thursday evening! A special thank you to those who organized, decorated, chaperoned, prepared food, provided music, cleaned up and more! We appreciate you all.
The Mixed Up Circus, a screenplay written by senior Mackenzie Roy for our elementary performancers, went off without fail last weekend. Thank you to our staff, advisors, lighting, set and stage crews, administrators, janitorial staff, and more. Thank you to the friends and families that supported the budding thespians.

Celebrate Halloween and help raise some money for your class and Student Council!
Middle school Halloween dance this Thursday! Admission is $7 to dance and $15 to dance and eat. Proceeds go tot he 8th grade class.
Senior night for football is this Friday October 25th. Senior parents please be at the game no later than 6:30. We will announce the seniors and parents at 6:40. Kickoff will be the same time as always at 7:00.
Senior night for volleyball is this Saturday, October 26th. Lone Peak does NOT have a freshman team so the JV will play at 4 and varsity to follow around 5:30. Senior parents of cheerleaders and volleyball players should be there no later than 5:15. Thanks
