Who Has the Bigger Bite. Food Drive for Three Forks and Townsend food banks. Drop off sonations at the popcorn stand at the Three Forks volleyball and Football games this week during the homecoming games.

Three Forks FFA had a fantastic night at the District Leadership School in Belgrade! The District Leadership School focuses on leadership and personal development workshops for our FFA members. This one-day leadership conference is the kick-off to the new year each fall, and a chance for state officers and members alike to network with chapters in their region and develop team skills for the year ahead.
Three Forks FFA sent 16 members to DLS, and we are excited about the future of this year!

This week was filled with all sorts of fun activities in the agriculture department. We included fun, interactive lessons related to dairy product identification, livestock handling tools, extension cord repair, and vet tool identification. A huge thank you to Chuteside Vet for allowing us to look at real-world tools. We ended the week with a fun roping activity! An enjoyable, busy week, with more to come!

A few more middle school woods projects that got completed just before the weekend!

Reminder: We received the following notice that there will be another opportunity for tax credit donations to Montana districts coming up next week. If you are interested you can find more information at the provided link or call our Business Office @ 406-285-3224, Ext 125.
Beginning on September 23, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., a limited number of Public-School Districts (PSD) tax credits for tax year 2025 will become available on the Education Donations2 Portal.
These tax credits are available because some previously approved credits became invalid. A credit reservation can become invalid if a donation amount was recorded incorrectly, or a PSD returned a donation to a donor. These invalid credit amounts will be “put back” in the pool of available credits as of September 23, 2025.
As of September 17, 2025, there is $84,750 in PSD tax credits available for reservation. Visit the Education Donations2 Portal at https://svc.mt.gov/dor/educationdonation2/ for up-to-date information on the availability of tax credits.

No such thing as too many posts when showing off these amazing middle school wood projects!

The Three Forks Agriculture Program would like to offer a huge thank you to Shawn Crawford! Over the past few days, Mr. Crawford shared his knowledge and experience as a wild-land and structure firefighter with a variety of classes. He not only presented potential career options to our students, but gave them a hands on and visual presentation of just how important firefighters and first responders are in our community. Thank you Mr. Crawford for volunteering your knowledge and time!
A huge thank you to Mr. Shilf for getting us equipment for the presentation!

Homecoming spirit days! (Please note that the elementary days have been edited from the previous post. Sorry about that. )
(ZOOM day is what people would wear to a Zoom meeting--professional on top, not professional on the bottom. )
Also, student section themes this week for volleyball are Neon tonight and Blackout on Thursday.

Some more awesome middle school projects this week! The middle school Wood and Tech students also had a great opportunity to try out the Williams Academy virtual reality equipment trailer. Thank you to Williams and Mr. Shilf for making this possible.

Today the Three Forks Agriculture classes explored a wide variety of units and activities, including dairy (ice cream making), fire science (forest fire models), and livestock evaluation (sheep judging). It was a fun day!

Unfortunately, we have to make a change to the junior high football schedule. Originally, the game against Manhattan was set for Monday, September 22nd at 6:00 PM, but it has been moved to Tuesday, September 23rd at 4:30 PM.
Important notes:
The JV football game is still scheduled for Monday, September 22nd at 4:00 PM — only the Junior High game is being moved.
The change is due to us rescheduling a Varsity Volleyball home game to Monday, the 22nd, as part of Homecoming Week.
With both events originally set for the same evening, I was concerned about staffing challenges and making families choose between events.
Thanks for your understanding and flexibility! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
