The seniors who have Mr. Gongo's Government class first semester made their trip over to the Capitol on Wednesday! They were able to get a tour of the building, as well as getting to see the Chambers for the House and Senate. We had a wonderful meeting with Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras in the Governors meeting room. We then headed to the Supreme Court building where they were able to meet Chief Justice Cory Swanson, and hold a mock Oral argument as the Supreme Court would do! We finished up by meeting with members from the Secretary of State and taking in the beauty of our nations Capitol! Thanks to Mr. Kane for tagging along, as well as the PAC helping get Candi McDonald and Brooke Pestel to come as well!

A group of sophomores visited the Montana Military Museum at Fort Harrison in Helena because they are doing a research paper as preparation to read Animal Farm. And since they were in Helena, they toured Carroll College and made a quick trip over to St. Helena Cathedral. A few of the boys met one of Carroll's football coaches. It was a good day!

With bus transportation for the Clarkston Route resuming on Monday, we ask parents to use either the elementary drop off lane on Oak or the MS/HS drop off on Neal St. For safety reasons, the Bus Loop area will be closed both morning and afternoon for student bus loading and unloading. We appreciate your cooperation.

We are happy to announce that the Three Forks School District has hired a bus route driver to provide transportation for the Clarkston Route. Student transportation will begin next week, Monday, October 27, 2025 for the original Clarkston Route. The route and schedule will remain the same. The district continues to seek additional drivers for both routes and activities.

We've had a few new faces join us for before and after school care with the change in bussing this week! Just a friendly reminder that we do not have staff available until 7:00 AM when the doors will be opened for them and we also only have supervision until 5:00 PM. Life happens, but please send a message to Kadie Warner via the ROOMS app or email kwarner@threeforks.k12.mt.us if you are running into a problem with drop off or pick up.

If you are needing to sign up for before or after school care, please register your child here at this link: https://forms.gle/F9nwZFHpgHqr5tg96

A huge thank you to the Build Montana initiative, organized by the Montana Contractors Association, for today's pop-up event to promote careers in construction. Our Three Forks CTE students are loving it!

The CTE Department would also like to add a huge thank you to Manhattan Bank, which donated money to every teacher in our district for use in their classrooms.

The Manhattan Bank 'Teachers Classroom Support Fund' is being used in the Agriculture Department to purchase fly-tying materials, so students can experience a new hands-on activity!

Thank you to all who invest in our students!

Recently, Mrs. Felz and Mrs. Oehmcke's students ventured across town to say THANK YOU! With hands full of warm chocolate chip cookies, freshly harvested school-garden vegetables, donated pantry items and stacks of thank you cards, Middle Schoolers trekked.

The first stop was with Manhattan Bank, who donated money to each and every teacher in our district for use in their classrooms. The Manhattan Bank 'Teachers Classroom Support Fund' is meant to support classroom activities and efforts to achieve excellence.

The second destination was a delivery to Headwaters Area Food Bank with the food our students picked from our school garDEN as well as pantry items the FCCLA chapter gathered during the Three Forks-Townsend football game.

Thanks to all who helped our students see first-hand what community give-back looks like.

Recently, our Accounting students (a Dual Enrollment opportunity with Gallatin College) learned about the accounting equation. To make sure that our kids don't forget that Assets = Liabilities + Owner's Equity, we made the acronym from the equation..... ALOE! The kids each decorated a pot, planted and kept a succulent for themselves. They then did the same for a second plant, giving them to the ASSETS of their choosing around Three Forks Schools.

Just a reminder that Senior Night for volleyball, cheer and cross country senior athletes is tomorrow, Thursday October 23rd. Parents, please be at the gym early, around 5:15pm, to set up your senior boards and to line up prior to the varsity game. Also it is dig pink night with proceeds raised going to a local Three Forks fan that is battling breast cancer. We will have Dig Pink shirts for sale at the game for $15 and donated gift baskets to raffle off. Let's pack the gym in pink to show our support to the Lady Wolves as they play their last home match of the season against the Manhattan Tigers!

⸻ Attention all high school volleyball players and parents: I apologize for any confusion, but I listed the wrong start time for the game on Saturday, October 18th at Boulder. The correct start time is 1:00 PM, not 4:00 PM. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
