Yesterday students in the Sophomore Composition classes spent the day at Madison Buffalo Jump State park, Missouri Headwaters State Park, The Depot Railroad Museum, and Headwaters Heritage Museum. Their task was to gather information for a research paper on a local topic. It was a beautiful day to hike to the top of the buffalo jump and around Fort Rock. Thank you to the local parks for the informational programs! Throwing ancient weapons is fun! And thank you to the local museum crew for opening their doors to us. It was an informative day!

The Three Forks FFA Sales Team had an amazing full day of practice yesterday. We start our morning in Livingston talking to Matt Strong. Matt is the Director of Sales for John Deere Frontline Ag Solutions. Our team was given the opportunity to talk through the entire sales process with Matt, and was given great advice on how to handle service calls as well. Thank you Matt Strong and Frontline Ag. Solutions for all your amazing help.
Following our visit to Livingston, the sales team made its way to Kubota of Belgrade. We were given another great opportunity by talking with Kubota Salesman, Brady Collins. Kubota Skidsteers are the products we are selling this year, so we had a great chance to talk over our product, and even opperate them! Thank you Brady and Kubota of Belgrade! FCCLA is selling caramel apples to be delivered on October 30th during the last class period of the day. Order forms were sent home last week and are also available from the school offices. Forms are due back to the school by October 16th. Forms may be turned into any of the offices as well. Thank you.

Attention middle school and JV football parents/players. On Monday at Townsend the junior high will play first at 4:30 and the JV will be after at 6:00.

The Music Department is proud to present their first concert of the school year on October 8th, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. in the auditorium. The concert will feature the 6th Grade Band, MS/HS Combined Choir, and MS/HS Combined Band. We look forward to seeing you there!

Middle School Halloween dance! We are looking for decorating help after school before the dance, chaperones, and a bunch of excited middle schoolers to come dance! The Agriculture Department continues to have fun things going on every day! Middle school wood projects, livestock handling and management tools, roping, livestock judging, timber cruising, plumbing work, meat science, and so much more!











Three Forks FFA continues to hold daily practices for all of our CDE and LDE contests. Our members are working hard and are excited about upcoming competitions!
We would like to thank all of our guest coaches who have taken the time to come work with us so far this year. Trenton Braaten (Livestock), Corey Lewellen ( Forestry), Jason with Montana Logging Association (Forestry), Mike Swan (Livestock), and Claire Standley (Meats).
Three Forks FFA also had the opportunity to sell burgers for Murdochs of Belgrade to help raise funds for upcoming events. Thank you Murdochs!











The Three Forks Powerlifting Club will soon begin training for those high school students looking to participate. Students that are thinking about joining, families that have questions and those who would like to learn more should connect with with Mr. Provenza at sprovenza@threeforks.k12.mt.us before the season starts.
