And with that, the 2025 Montana FFA State Convention comes to a close! Three Forks FFA was not only super competitive but were true examples of the Blue and Gold. These amazing students were respectful and professional and represented their chapter and community in the best way. These young men and women are truly superior FFA members.

Congratulations to Kortney Merritt, who took 7th Place out of all Montana FFA members in the Montana FFA Sweepstakes!
Congratulations to our 2nd place Forestry Team! This team consisted of Corban Lewellen (2nd out of 91), Rylee Smith (7th Place), Colton Schmitt (11th Place), and Hadley Fallang (26th Place).
Our Veterinary Science Team took 12th place out of 59 teams! This team consisted of Savannah Emens (22nd Place), Rylee Smith (30th Place), Kortney Merritt, and Payten Vander Voort.
Our Livestock Evaluation Team took 22nd out of 59 teams! This team consisted of Kortney Merritt, Heidi Hutchison, Lucas Killion, and Payten Vandervoort.
A huge shoutout to all our other teams as well for their hard work!

Over the next month Three Forks School District will be sharing information about the general fund mill levy that will go before voters in the May 6th election. We will be sharing information on Infinite Campus Messenger, the District website, District Facebook page, as well as other school events.
Did you know that there are programs available to assist low-income or fixed income families with their taxes?
Programs do exist that offer property tax assistance for taxpayers who qualify. The Montana Department of Revenue provides an application for tax assistance that can reduce taxes up to 80%. Click this link for more information

Another busy and great day for Three Forks FFA! Today, our floriculture and horse teams competed, finally rounding out all of our competitions! We also found some time to watch the parliamentary procedure finals and may be starting a Parli team soon!
Tonight was also a very special night for some of our members. A huge congratulations to Hadley Fallang, Savannah Emens, and Kortney Merritt on receiving their Montana FFA State Degrees!
The Montana State FFA Degree is a significant achievement awarded by state FFA associations to recognize members who have excelled in FFA activities, leadership, and community service, and who have completed a supervised agricultural experience program. It is the highest honor a state can bestow on an FFA member!
Congratulations to these amazing girls!!! We are so proud of you all! We will learn final results tomorrow on the remainder of our contests!!!

What a day for Three Forks FFA!!! Today we competed in Livestock Evaluation, Vet Science, and did our Horse Team Problem!
We then went on tours, career success workshops, and even a hypnotist show!
Now for some very exciting news! First, we are so happy to announce that our High School Principal, Greg Heys, was recognized as a finalist nominee for Administrator of The Year!
And a huge congratulations to the Three Forks FFA Forestry Team for their 2nd Place finish at the Montana FFA State Convention! This hardworking team consisted of Corban Lewellen, who took 2nd place as an individual, Rylee Smith, who took 7th place as an individual, Hadley Fallang, and Colton Schmitt! This amazing team was coached by Corey Lewellen! Thank you Corey!

Attention track athletes and parents: the meet at Laurel today has been canceled due to a snow storm they received overnight.

If your status is “inactive”, you need to contact the county elections office to activate/re-active your registration. For those community members that are new to Montana, you will need to complete a registration application which can be found at this link, https://votemt.gov/ . This needs to be done ASAP, 30 days prior to the May 6th election. Late registration can be completed at the County Election’s Office.

DG House spent the morning in our 2YK classrooms working with students.
DG House is a Native American Artist from Bozeman. She is the artist in residence in Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis, IN. Her work has exhibited in the finest Art Museums including the Holter Museum of Art, the Missoula Museum of Art, the Yellowstone Art Museum and the CM Russell Museum in Montana as well the Phippen Museum of Art in Prescott, AZ, the Heard Museum in Phoenix, AZ, the Eiteljorg Museum of Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis, IN, the John Clymer Museum in Ellensburg, WA, the Western Art Museum in Kerrville, Texas and the Indian Market at the Autry National Center in Los Angeles, CA.

✔ Have no more than 4 tardies
✔ Maintain grades of C or above in all classes

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day in the state of Montana.
We are SO fortunate at Three Forks Schools to have some amazing individuals that step up to take on a multitude of tasks to support students and staff. The efforts of these staff members do not go unnoticed. If you see a TF para today please extend your gratitude!

What a day for Three Forks FFA! We went to the Junior Ag. Mechanics Show, Trade Show, and talked with so many cool people! Three Forks networked like no other today!
Our FBM and Forestry Team took the field and competed hard! Sophia Emens represented her chapter in Creed Speaking! We are very proud of all their hard work.
A few results were given this evening, and we are super proud to announce that Savannah Emens took 9th place as an individual in the Ag. Sales contest. Great job Savannah and all of our other chapter members! We still have two more full days of competing ahead!
