There have been no health threats to our school this week and due to recent social media posts we wanted to make sure that people get the correct information from the source that has provided information to the District. Three Forks School District is offering two Traffic Safety Education classes this spring and summer.
Classes for the spring course will run 11 weeks beginning with the required parent meeting on March 16th. Class will be held Monday-Thursday 7-8:15 am with driving after school and on Saturdays. Drives will be rescheduled if weather makes the roads dangerous.
The summer course will run over 7 weeks beginning June 8th with classes and drives running Monday-Friday most weeks. There is one Saturday class June 13. The required parent meeting will be held May 20th and there will be no class the week of June 28th-July 4th. Mr. Lauver will be teaching class and doing drives for the week of July 12-18.
Any student who is 14½-years-old on or before the first day of class is eligible to take the class. However, priority will be given to older students.
Schedules are available in the high school office or email Heidi Donnelly for a copy. If you would like your student to take the class, please call the school or sign up on the interest sheet at the high school office by the end of the day on Tuesday, February 18. This does not guarantee a spot. We are simply building an interest list. Interested families will be contacted with the schedule and parent meeting information based on birthdays, and rosters will be built from there.
If you have questions, please email Heidi Donnelly at hdonnelly@threeforks.k12.mt.us.
Great job Positive Paw winners!
